Could not recommend this place enough!! My 4 bunnies stayed 10 days to be bonded as a 4. (Two boys that were living together and two separate living girls) unfortunately due to her best efforts this was not successful. However, we have arrived home with two very happy and loving pair bonds it’s so nice to see that no one is on their own and they have all returned home really happy!!

Kate is so kind and helpful and has gone above and beyond this week, the after care advice has been so amazing. She is so patient and answers any queries you have. She also kept in contact with us all week to give us updates on their progress which was amazing!! I’ve never left my bunnies with anyone but family before, but right from the start I just knew they would be so well looked after and they were. It was so worth the two hour drive.
We decided to use Kates services as our friends had recommended us, and used them, and this made us feel more reassured they were going to a good place.

I truly and honestly could not recommend Kate enough !! She has been nothing but lovely and helpful!! Everything that I could of asked for, I trust her so much with my bunnies !! She has done amazingly at bonding my 4 bunnies and we now have a very happy quad living together !!!

She gave me so much advice, help, and support and most importantly nothing but love towards my bunnies and me especially when I was worried. She reassured me constantly and I feel that I can always rely on her for support and guidance.

We used her pet “limo” service which was just so helpful for us and made the whole situation less stressful, really great service !!

Simba and Lola love staying with Kate, the cottage with garden run gives them both plenty of space to explore and stretch their legs!

The limo service made going away so much less hectic and gave us one less thing to worry about. The accommodation which the bunnies stayed in was so spacious and the bunnies had so much room to bounce around. They were well looked after. Given water, hay, nuggets and veggies. I recently left my guinea pigs Leo and Joe with Kate of Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel for 5 nights. I could not recommend her highly enough.

Great booking system, quick and easy with a speedy confirmation. Kate also wanted some details about the animals which was great and very reassuring.

We were able to purchase some toys for the pigs for their stay for a good price, these came home with them. It was great that their enrichment was thought about in advance and I knew they would have things to play with.

Covid-19 guidelines were more than met and instructions were sent well in advance.

Leo and Joe seemed to have a fantastic time. Pictures were posted on Facebook of them settling in and throughout their stay. They also got to have a run in the outdoor hut which I thought was a really great addition and showed that there is real attention paid to the welfare of the animals boarding.

There is also the option to purchase a digital album of photographs plus 2 prints from their time at the Hotel for a v competitive price.

The facilities are set in beautiful surroundings and the attention to detail for pet stays is really reassuring (food preferences? Our bunnies were monitored at feeding times to allow both to get their fair share)

I also love that Kate uses as many natural products and toys etc as possible instead of coloured toxins.

The perfect holiday destination for your family pet! Its reassuring to know that while you are away your pet is getting more than just its basic requirements. As all pet lovers know, pets are a part of the family and it's not easy leaving them behind or finding somewhere you can trust to take care of them whilst you're away. When we first met Kate as she guided us around around the Sylvan Pet Hotel, we knew with her knowledge and amazing set up that our rabbits would be in safe hands!
Even while we were away, with regular communication and updates from Kate, we knew our rabbits were having a stress free and pampered time. We could also tell that Kate was being attentive to our pets by how quickly she sussed out Bella & Timmy's personalities and needs.
I have to say that Bella & Timmy were both glad to get back home to their Wibbety Mansion but Timmy, as much as he missed his Dad (favouritism I know...) would have enjoyed staying with Kate a bit longer!

Fantastic business and service from Kate at the Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel. A family holiday meant our new little guinea pigs also went on holiday! Cannot recommend Kate and The Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel highly enough. Fantastic care, communication and all round experience giving me great peace of mind whilst away. After a terrible experience at a different holiday home for the chickens, I reluctantly left my girls with Kate for a week whilst we holidayed in the Lake District. They came home to me (all of them!) happy, healthy and superbly looked after. The small furry section of the hotel is gorgeous too and she caters for all needs!

"Kate at Sylvan Small Animal Pet Hotel has been a delight before, during and after our three rabbits, George, Grace and Hudson, stayed with her. Kate really knows her stuff when it comes to rabbits, and as we were away for more than a night, we decided our bunnies deserved a holiday rather than someone popping to the house to feed them. The set up Kate has for all small animals is incredible, she caters for both indoor and outdoor rabbits which we were very pleased about as our rabbits are indoor pets and that is very important to us. The price for 6 nights didn’t break the bank by any means, payment and contracts were easy, and the care that our 3 babies had was incredible. The Facebook posts and photos of them have been a delight to see as we missed them as soon as they were gone! Drop of and pick up was simple and easy, and Kate was very understandable when it came to times of drop off and pick up. Our 3 furbabies have settled right back in at home and seem so happy after having their little holiday. We cannot thank Kate enough for the 5 star care that she took of them, so our little trio will be back soon for another break. I have never felt so at ease about someone else looking after our pets, and only being away for one night at a time before, I thought I would be worried sick but I was 100% sure that Kate would do an excellent job of keeping our high maintenance fur babies happy and she has certainly done that.
