Sadly, COVID-19 caused us to change our visitors policy and as a result we no longer offer viewings in person of the hotel.
We loved to be able to show people around in the past, but when we could no longer do this due to social distancing, we found it was actually beneficial to our guests to not be repeatedly disturbed by visitors during their stay.

My name is Kate and I may be able to help......
I have kept animals my whole life and started out with fish keeping as a child (both pond and aquarium). I then kept tree frogs and lizards as a teenager until I was allowed my first dog. I've kept rabbits, gerbils and mice and currently have two cats and five hens.
I understand the needs of the more unusual pets and over the years I have struggled to find people to look after them whilst I've been ill or on vacation.
Having decided on a career change, I started the Sylvan small animal pet hotel in our family home to assist with pet boarding and holiday pet care of all small pets from Stafford, Penkridge, Cannock and the surrounding areas, whether they be, furry, feathered or have scales!
A Variety of Boarding Options
Based on the edge of Stafford in the small rural hamlet of Coppenhall, I offer floor-pen style accommodation for rabbit and guinea pig boarding in our secure stable block.
Alternatively, we offer a "bring your own cage" arrangement which allows me to look after all other small critters such as small mammals (gerbils/hamsters/mice/degus/chinchillas) as well as he more exotic reptiles, tortoises, small birds etc.
Competitive Pricing and Onsite Gift Shop
Everything at the hotel is provided such as hay, bedding, fruit and veg. The only thing you will need to bring with you is your pets dry food, frozen prey items or live insects as required.
If your pet has any favourite toys/blankets, you are welcome to bring these with you to the hotel, or perhaps you might like to purchase a selection of new toys and treats from our hotel "gift shop".
